How does Lynq work?

Lynq is a private institutional network enabling real time settlement between users of the platform. Assets on the platform can be transferred between network participants on a real time basis. The medium of settlement is a yield-bearing treasury fund. Interest on a client’s intraday holdings is distributed daily.

Can I integrate Lynq with existing systems?

Lynq offers a comprehensive API suite that enables authorized users to manage transactions, access real-time data, and automate workflows directly within their existing infrastructure. Over 650 institutional clients have connected to the Tassat API. If your company has done so in the past (through a Signature Bank or Customers Bank deployment), a simple recertification of your connection will enable you access to Lynq.

How does Lynq mitigate counterparty risk?

Arca’s Institutional U.S. Treasury Fund was created with independent board governance, Fund investments are held in a trust, and maintained in a segregated account.

Are any of Lynq’s operators regulated?

Lynq is operated by one of its Core Partners, tZERO Securities, LLC, an SEC-registered broker-dealer, with digital asset security custody provided by tZERO Digital Asset Securities, one of only two SEC-registered special purpose broker-dealers in the United States. Settlement is facilitated by a U.S. Treasury fund governed by U.S. securities laws and managed by Arca Capital Management, a registered investment adviser. All Lynq users are customers of tZERO’s broker-dealers and are subject to their KYC/AML processes and procedures. Therefore, all Lynq users and transactions are conducted within a regulated environment.

What is “Yield-in-Transit”?

Lynq’s patent-pending, Yield-in-Transit functionality ensures clients continually accrue and receive interest on their intraday holdings, calculated in five-second increments — even while initiating transfers and redemptions.

Where are client assets stored on Lynq?

Cash is deposited with tZERO Securities and shares of the Arca U.S. Treasury Fund are custodied with tZERO Digital Asset Securities, pursuant to its fully disclosed clearing agreement with tZERO Securities for digital asset securities. U.S. Bank is the custodian for underlying assets held in the Arca U.S. Treasury Fund, safeguarding the U.S. Treasuries and cash of the Trust.
